Dr. Jessica Fung graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science in Biology before attending the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation in 2010, she completed a one year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Ontario Veterinary College before pursuing a one year specialized internship in small animal emergency and critical care medicine in Vancouver, BC.
She has been working as an emergency veterinarian at VCA Canada Western Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Centre since the summer of 2012, before she joined our team here in the fall of 2020.
In her spare time, Dr. Fung enjoys scuba diving, stand up paddling, cycling, hiking, downhill and cross country skiing, and indoor climbing.
