Dr. Peter Jakobsen graduated from the University of Calgary with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 and spent the next 6.5 years working in a mixed animal practice. Gaining broad experience across species before joining our team in 2023. He has a special interest in dentistry and dermatology and brings a thoughtful, thorough approach to every patient he sees. Dr. Peter is exceptionally personable and genuinely enjoys getting to know both his clients and their pets.
In his spare time, Dr. Peter enjoys hiking, travelling, and painting. He’s also an avid bird watcher and loves exploring the beautiful nature found right in his own Canadian backyard.
